Wade Morris

Wade started his own practice in 2009 after working as an associate at a litigation boutique in Toronto. Before entering sole practice, he represented plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury, insurance, real estate, and commercial litigation matters. He has made numerous successful appearances before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.

Before attending law school, Wade worked in the information technology sector in consulting, programming, and application support roles.

Representative Work:

  • Successfully researched, drafted, and argued an appeal in the Superior Court of Justice which resulted in an order compelling two foreign defendants to attend in Ontario for examinations for discovery
  • Represented an Eastern-European Republic in a State Immunity Act case and successfully obtained a dismissal order in favour of the republic
  • Saved a plaintiff's action from summary dismissal by successfully arguing that the former Limitations Act and its 6-year limitation period applied to the claim
